SEC ordered to produce in 30 days

The SEC was ordered to produce millions of documents under a freedom of information act request (FOIA) with a very tight timeframe.

No, that is not a misprint. Yes, it is burdensome, and yes, the cost was shifted but, by gosh, they still have to produce.

 

The court ordered the SEC to meet with SEC Insight within 30 days and strongly urged the parties to winnow the requests to a manageable level and determine if SEC Insight is willing to pay for individual document review, as required. Provided it is paid for the work, the court ordered the SEC to review the relevant documents within 60 to
